Chuck Hawthorne was sitting in a Chicago airport next to his guitar case. He had been visiting friends for the weekend and was waiting on a flight back to Austin, where he had recently relocated following his retirement from the US Marine Corps. Another gentleman toting a guitar took the seat next to him and struck up a conversation. That man was Juno Award winning artist Ray Bonneville.

As the flight boarded, the two exchanged contact information, and Ray asked Chuck to send him some songs. Chuck had heard that line before and figured that airport conversation would be the last he heard from Ray Bonneville. But the next day, he emailed Ray a few songs anyway. Ray sent a reply that would change Chuck’s life and career. It read, “Let’s meet for coffee and discuss your record.”

Libby Koch (pronounced “coke”) is a Houston-based Americana singer-songwriter. Named Songwriter of the Year by the Houston Press (2013), Koch draws from a classic Americana blend of country, folk and rock, and cites Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Janis Joplin, Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch and Dolly Parton among her influences.

Eddy Raven - Known for his Cajun-influenced country music, Raven has been a recording artist since 1962. He has charted more than thirty-five singles in his career, including the Number One hits "I Got Mexico", "Shine, Shine, Shine", "I'm Gonna Get You", "Joe Knows How to Live", "In a Letter to You" and "Bayou Boys", as well as several more Top Ten hits, including seventeen consecutive Top Tens between 1984 and 1990.

Frank Myers - American country music singer, songwriter and record producer. In his career, he has written songs for John Michael Montgomery, Eddie Rabbitt, Crystal Gayle, Lonestar and others. In 1995, he and frequent songwriting partner Gary Baker (formerly of The Shooters) recorded one album on Curb Records as the duo Baker & Myers.

Some of Suzy's accomplishments include ten albums for Capitol Records, one of which has been certified platinum and three others, gold. Eight of her singles have cracked country music's top 5. Suzy is the recipient of a GRAMMY award (for Best Traditional Folk Album as a part of Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster) as well as several awards from the Academy of Country Music, The Country Music Association, CMT, and ASCAP. Her songs have been heard on television shows and in commercials. She has performed on many national television shows including: In Performance At The White House (PBS), A Capitol 4th (PBS), Austin City Limits, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live With Regis And Kelly, and The View. Suzy is a frequent guest on National Public Radio's A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. Ricky C Simmons graduated from Greenville in 1979. In 1979, Ricky signed a full ride scholarship to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ricky played wide receiver from 1979-1983. After the 1984 Orange Bowl, Ricky was drafted into the USFL to play for the Washington Federals. The following year, he joined the Orlando Renegades where he played for one year. At the end of the season playing for the Renegades, Ricky was drafted into the NFL in 1986 to play for the Atlanta Falcons. During the first season playing with the Atlanta Falcons, he quit the NFL to be a full time drug addict, which led him from the NFL to prison.
BUT that is not the end of the story. With encouragement and help from Coach Tom Osborne he changed the direction of his life. He realized that he does have control of his life, and that he does “have a purpose”, but it has to starts with him. Unlike prior incarcerations, he used this time to become the man that his family, and his mentor Coach Osborne, knew he could be. Leaving prison in 2009, Ricky had a plan, and a different mindset.

Now his plan is now in full effect…. As a footnote Ricky returned to the prison he was released from 11 months later, not as a repeat offender, but as a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and guest speaker.

“IT’S ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE!” 
This is Ricky’s way of living today. To him, it is a “mind set” that allows him to live a life of “gratefulness versus complaining”.

​​Three of Nashville’s most talented singer/songwriters bring a little taste of Music City to your hometown when they perform an “Evening in the Round.”  The intimate night of acoustic music, starring Grammy award winner Linda Davis and hit songwriters Lang Scott and Bill Whyte, will be injected with hits, humor and a whole lot of down home appeal.

This enjoyable night of music will see each artist taking a turn at the microphone, playing songs and sharing the stories behind these hits. The audience can expect to hear some familiar tunes recorded by some of today’s hottest artists, as well as Whyte’s own brand of sometimes twisted but always funny songs.
